Contradictory Signage -Scotrail

I noticed on a number of Scotrail platforms these contradictory signs. One says if you board you will be charged full fare the other minimum £10.

I noticed on a number of Scotrail platforms these contradictory signs. One says if you board you will be charged full fare the other minimum £10.
The clue is the wording “new rules” on the blue and yellow poster - they’re not in force yet. However, AIUI the £10 minimum is to become the anytime fare for all flows where it is currently less than that (as peak fares have been abolished, the anytime fare is effectively superfluous). If that happens both notices will be correct as “the full fare” will always be £10 or more.

The full price single as shown in the Scotrail app is £6.50 for the journey I did and that was Edinburgh to North Queensferry so no minimum £10 active yet.

note I did pay up front for a return journey with senior railcard so the return was less than £10 for two of us.
