On that farthest monitor, @Topological I think I see the great 1980s Simulation game Gasp Or Gasm*. Gasp is real. Gasm is sometimes fake.

* A platform game, akin to legendary Donkey Kong. Not akin to Abercwnboi's crowded platform.

A good observation. Basically, there is a lot of jumping on top of things (Ctrl+J) and then bouncing a bit (Up Arrow + ] ). You can see the further controller is really going at it.

The thing with remembering games from the 80s is that these days you need a good emulator to get the full experience.

We wind back to the heady days of late May, when the sun shone, and there was very little else to do than drive to a near-abandoned goods yard and climb a tree.



If you roll up a newspaper and make vertical cuts down from one end, you can make your own tree. Do not climb the tree you have made unless you have used a whole pile of newspapers and encased the requisite metal sub-structure.

This particular goods yard has ample discarded newspaper prime for making trees. It also has ample trees. Less clear is how you gain access for the Jag. Something is a foot.

They are deciding who will be playing Santa in an upcoming fundraiser at the University. It is a tradition at The Academic's institution that they celebrate the end of the Summer Term with a Christmas party. This will be Anika's first time distributing gifts.

One of the framed images that will be being given out depicts the same scene where the choice of Santa was made. This is the yard in happier times. Something is amiss with the image though. Is this academia embracing AI? As Robbie Williams once mused, "Is this real? Because I feel fake". No doubt the Academic spent many an hour watching Oprah and Rikki Lake.

It is amazing how many things that really ought to be simple are actually not. At least the people who put up the site lights did an effective job.

I still enjoy the ability to go back and look at old photos and imagine everything we used to be. For the academic there seems to be a rush, perhaps the kettles on and he cannot be long. Perhaps it is the realisation that hell is gone and heaven's here?



In this latest collection of past and present shots, one does wonder what fate will befall this small station. Anika will also be pondering that here is the place where the feeling grows...

That is brilliant @Sun Chariot . It is good to see your creativity back. I am concerned about the fate of the Sussex Bomber, I SEE the premises had a problem with the signage. It is difficult to know whether the sign was damaged before the closure, or after. I do despair that somewhere as seemingly non-descript as the Sea of Capri would do well where the Sussex Bomber fails. That is the power of Matcha I guess.



As a nod to the bi-directional line that once reached the station on the site, the supermarket does not immitate a German discount retailer. Anika seems unconcerned anyway. The couple face something of a sliding doors moment though as we wonder whether they are also simultaneously finishing their shopping in more typical attire. There is something to develop there.
