Did mine through their app, but it did seem rather pernickety.I tried earlier and they weren't working.
Sorted now thanksDid mine through their app, but it did seem rather pernickety.
I went last Friday 29 May - booked the week before but no £1.50 Tickets left - mine was £4.50 which is still a bargain. As campdave said now expired.Trying to buy a £1.50 S&C ticket for the 1049 LDS-CAR but not having any joy
Have tried the forum site and Northern app - does this mean I've missed the boat?
Morrisons are running a £10 off promotion for their Morrisons More members, with participating ticket retailers. The forum ticketing site is a participating retailer, as is everything else TrainSplit/Raileasy.

Invitation only, for people who've used the Morrisons More app recently. Cannot be stacked with Railcard discounts.
The purpose is so that RDG can push the fare-setting train operator as the "primary" place to buy the tickets for that journey above the independent retailers.Weird the site asking where I wanted to go to/from (which I just clicked any damn thing) - thought all retailers that would do this would sell all destinations, so presumably some kinda marketing thing?

My wife tried hers with East Midlands railway and same error message. Thanks for this.
I claimed and received the discount code.
Tried to book with West Midlands trains but the code was not recognised !
One of those offers that looks good but doesn’t deliver ! Website does not work and no railcard discount !
We've had quite a few people successfully redeem the £10 off at TrainSplit. I think the campaign has been fraught with email delivery problems and the flow is a bit naff (no prefilling of promo codes, very reliant on emails, have to re-enter journey details), so hopefully some lessons can be learnt. One of those offers that looks good but doesn’t deliver !
The campaign is designed to encourage people who wouldn't ordinarily travel by rail to take the train. By definition that excludes the vast majority of people who own a Railcardand no railcard discount

It pays to pick the retailer wisely!

Worked it out. For trainsplit you just put /morrisons at the end of the trainsplit website. So can be done.I'm afraid that once a retailer is chosen the selection is final, I'm not aware of any way of changing it after the fact![]()
So you too worked out how to get from East Midlands to the trainsplit Morrisons website !I'm having the same problem with East Midlands too. Just tried Trainsplit, same error.
I can guarantee you won't have got the same error from TrainSplit.Just tried Trainsplit, same error.
That just takes you to the information page about the promotion. It doesn't change the fact that you won't have a valid promo code for use on TrainSplit if you picked a different retailer to begin with.Worked it out. The ScotRail Club 50 Flat Fare offer is returning, with outbound travel from 6th May.
Participation was entirely voluntary and every retailer would've needed to come to their own conclusions as to whether it was worth their time or not.Hopefully it would work the same at other retailers. It seemed a slightly odd list of retailer choices with some surprisingly missing.
