Does anyone know if the west coast mk1s are to be used on the Dalesman and Scarborough express as I saw Scots Guardsman being planned for use on the Dalesman this year?

Might just about be partially true if 44871 gets rostered, but seems a bit premature - or downright dishonest, depending on your point of view.

They’re “advertising” on twitter. Pictures of Scots Guardsman and Galatea. The wording intimates that one of these will be pulling “vintage carriages” on The Scarborough Spa. Nothing specific, just vague suggestions.
Seems like sharp practice to me.
Well since the carriages are unlikely to have been built pre-1927 or post-2006, “vintage” is an entirely appropriate word. Apparently “vintage” denotes “between 20 and 99 years old”.

I’d assume in this case “vintage” refers to mk1s
So would I, though mk2s also fit the description as it’s been a good twenty years + since they were in widespread public use on the main line (yes, I’m aware there were a few that lasted longer than that!(

But considering that the mk2s are air braked and the advertised locomotives are not one could assume mk2s are to be used

The early Mark 2s - often incorrectly referred to as Mark 2z - are vacuum-braked.

I don’t think west coast have enough of the early ones to form a whole set
Technically they do with the vacuum braked ones, as that is how Steam Dreams (before LSL ownership) used to operate it, with a Mk1 kitchen car, but it depends how long the set needs to be. The early Mk2 set hasn't to date been fitted with central door locking.
What WCR don't really have enough of is air braked early Mark 2s with opening windows and central door locking.

Does anyone know what’s going on with the Britannic on Cambrian Coast at the moment, it appears to be stopped between Talerddig and Machynlleth, and was already running an hour behind schedule. Operating 1Z66 behind 97302 + 97304, with 66744 having being removed at Shrewsbury.

Hi, does anyone know what this will be, its part of a WCR operated tour from Saltburn -> Llandudno and back, with the outbound on the 03/07 and the return on the 06/07, however cannot find anything on either Railadvent or WCR's website. Heres the schedules:
