I rang up the office at Quarry House a little bit ago and the nice woman I spoke to said its not showing as to be heard today though there isn't a reason given - just that its not on the system for today
Might be just as well as for some reason I wasn't down to attend as an interested party despite me ringing on Thursday to get my name down/announce my intention - so even if it was on for today, I wouldn't have been able to sit in

Go Ahead West Yorkshire seen to be keeping the timetables of their new services in Bradford a secret. They start on Sunday and they were "coming soon" on March 27 according to their website.
They also seem to have disappeared from social media (accounts still exist but no queries answered or posts made).

Timetables for Go Ahead West Yorkshire services 615, 616, 619 & 633 commencing 17th May are now online.

I'm surprised that they've uploaded the timetables to EY's website, as it was said that GWY would be getting a dedicated website so perhaps the GWY website is not ready yet...

Looks like there were a few dropped/not completed runs on the X46 yesterday - 922 especially seemed to not make it all the way to York but showed up again later in the day after turning back short at Pocklington

Not a major issue but I see day tickets purchased in the app are now no longer valid for a full 24 hours from activation but expire on the day of activation (or rather 0400 the next morning). It was always a nice bonus to be able to use the same ticket across two days but I can appreciate that it wasn't cost effective for the business.

E200 MMC 20304 has had its Eastrider vinyls removed and is in plain white ahead of transferring to West Yorkshire for Bradford services starting on Sunday. Can anyone confirm rumours that E200 MMCs 20302, 20303, 20305 & 20523 are also transferring to West Yorkshire?
I've also seen that EY is operating the 197 York Racecourse shuttle service this year, alongside First York, Connexions & York Pullman. Two Eastrider EvoSetis are at Pocklington depot for this.

Its quite quickly becoming the norm. Buses being turned around early and breaking down. I appreciate the A1079 roadworks are out of EY's control but the breakdowns are concerningly frequent.

I just had a thought - one of the named persons quit EY the day after publication of the meeting last N&P and moved to another bus company. Would they still have to appear in front of the Traffic Commissioner?

Why is it necessary to keep renumbering a vehicle? Each fleet number is now supposed to be unique.

Fourways, Procters and East Yorkshire all have different prefixes. Fourways has 24xxx, Procters has 21xxx and East Yorkshire has 20xxx. For instance, YX66 WAO is 21006 at Procters but was 24009 at Fourways.
EY do not have a commercial manager.

Moves this summer (July I believe). Ashton was only Interim MD at EY following Gilligan's departure to GNE. Kitchin should be a much longer term MD.
B8RLE Evolution 20392 (now at Compass Royston) on Moorsbus today has had East Yorkshire vinyls removed and had Conpass Royston legal lettering on a laminated sheet in the side window. The destination blind only said "Moorsbus M4" with no actual destination which raised a few questions for people boarding.
