Correct! I took this a couple of weeks ago and thought it was a different station but checked when I posted it and it is indeed Tokyo Main/Central Station.

Over to you.

By the way Superalbs I enjoyed your latest Youtube episode on the Nightjet Zurich to Amsterdam. I know it didn't go well for you but I find the Videos when everything doesn't go to plan more interesting somehow than the ones where everything goes right! Better Luck with the next one.

Thank you, it always sucks when things go wrong so much - especially when you pay so much, but at least unlike the other passengers, I got a story to tell out of it.

Where is this...

Thought I recognised the strange Sculpture / Statue thing from a previous visit but not the Clock Tower etc. Then I read that it has recently been given a facelift / upgrade so explains the changes.

Will post another today.

I probably wouldn't have recognised it if I wasn't looking through the pictures of my 2024 visit the other day. Did the Kyoto museum first before going up for the scenic railway.

Anyway where might this be?

Nice. This was Easter just gone. We had a day rafting in the boats down the Gorge then did the trip on the Sagano Scenic Railway back up the same Gorge and then walked the 500M to Umahori to get the train back to Kyoto down the Gorge again. A bit chaotic but that was just the way the day panned out!

Travelled through there I think from Almaty when I was working over there. Was really impressed with Almaty (I'd been based in Aterau which was dull in comparison!). Will try and post another today.
Temirtau is at the end of some random branchline in an industrial town. It now has restored its tramway, so requires a new visit.

OK - Time for a clue:

Located in the Southern Hemisphere this Suburban Station is served by 3 Lines on the city's Public Transport Network.
