Hi, I submitted my vetting application mid December 2025, what time frame should I be expecting for it to be completed? Note I was only informed that it’s in progress late April. Thanks

Just read through all this. I applied December 2024. Still awaiting vetting to finish. This process is CRAZY. I didn't have to do a bleep test. I wonder if they call me up to do it. Already did my medical etc.

According to the manager, this is the first intake of candidates required to pass this test. He said he intends on making it a yearly requirement. Not sure if current employees/previous intakes will be grandfathered in.

Reasonable requirement, imo.

I got my email yesterday for my induction for first day training on the 22nd , dress code and stuff to bring etc - no talk of pension , basic pay or sick pay etc .

Did find out that besides the physical training it’s also remote through teams which I didn’t expect but during training will have to shadow current operation officers

Hello hope you well, quick one Apparently after a year of probation you’ll be on 50k is that true ?? I asked an operation officer the other day at London Bridge, did they told you on the day you passed? Or they send you an email days later ??

Did my in person assessment on Thursday 11th June. Got conditional offer next day. Submitted vetting details. Anyone know how long vetting will take?

I was told practical should be sometime during the summer holiday, they will be using a school gym.

They do a full vetting through the police, they make u answer all sorts of questions related to convictions, so I doubt it.

Hello mate sorry for the late reply , yeah I think it’s around that maybe even more depending on any strikes or anything , once you finish vetting and get clearance and get your placement then you find out wage etc , I not have my contract and everything else ready to start on Monday

What if you have declared everything?
Just be honest in the application best way to pass any anomalies or anything they’ll contact you if you lie or try to hide anything you won’t pass

“NPPV vetting usually takes 6–9 months from application submission, though it may be shorter or longer.”

Received in an email today. This means I won’t be starting anytime this year… I started application last year. How long did it take for you guys?
