I would say I’m gutted it’s not going up the branch line as that’s where I work but I’m on nights then anyway so won’t see it!

This came as a grand pleasant surprise to me: I was on the Picc and went to Hatton Cross and out of nowhere this train roared past. Thankfully I had my phone out to check buses so it was a quick switch to the camera. Prior to then I had no idea this was running.

As an ex LT Museum employee I have experienced travelling on the 38 stock on a number of occasions. All I can say it's an amazing experience

It's even more of an experience driving a 38 in service, especially in the days before it had a speedo! I was lucky enough to drive them in passenger service on the Northern Line before they went overseas to the IOW or the LT museum
