Yes, purportedly the very last one they did. Assured we would hear back "very soon" but given it's been nearly three weeks I am starting to get anxious...
Ah, same one as me then! I was certain they said medical within two weeks if all plans go well. I assume that for whatever reason they cannot fulfil the medicals or the contracts quite yet... as is often the case in rail, and that we will probably get news as soon as contracts are sorted. Everythings in a bit of a mess rn with GBR. Hopefully won't be too long now.

Hopefully all being well we will be working together then! Just gotta refill the patience meter hahaha
Was good to meet everyone at that assessment. I would love to connect with you further if that's okay, but not entirely sure how to and I don't want to put my real name out on the forum, safety and all that.

Hopefully! the forum has a direct messaging feature if you are happy with that.

Yeah more than happy to do that.

Starting to get nervous about my situation too, best of luck to you both.
Best of luck to you also but as AirFrance said its highly likely that its something out of everyone's control. From my point of view everyone at the assessment did fantastic.

Hi there, I'm also in a similar boat. Been waiting for the customer service apprenticeship assessment center results from April. Has anyone had any updates? Wishing you all good luck for when we hopefully hear back

I had an update 2/3 weeks ago to say that they are still considering me, other than that nothing. I imagine they are yet to finalise the apprenticeship budget for this year or something along those lines.

Worth noting I am london based so applying for the TV opening whereas your profile would suggest you are for the south west opening - not sure if that may mean different stages of communication or not.

Yep I'm going for the south west one in taunton/plymouth. From what they said at the assessment I think the apprenticeship spaces available are combined across both the south west and the other one which I think was maidenhead? Do correct me if I'm wrong Anyway hopefully will hear back soon

I would imagine spaces for the theory course bit are combined yeah, there will be a proportion that they have space for in Maidenhead and a proportion at south west so I imagine they will hire a certain amount for each rather than the best across both. They won’t be able to have the entire team at Maidenhead for example as there would be too many staff in one station.

I think that is what they will be finalising now from the email they sent, how many they have space for at each station.

I heard back saying they tried to phone me and couldn’t. I must have given them a wrong number as I have no missed calls. Going to follow up on Monday

Mine was at 17:28, so after the working day had ended. They would still send you an email if you were unsuccessful so maybe they haven’t got round to contacting you either way! I haven’t been told I have the position either to be fair, just that they want to call me.
Oh right, what time was that at? I've had nothing so I doubt I've been successful

That's still good news, does that mean you'll get in on the next round or if someone is unable to do it?

Finally got my response, didn't get it but they also said I have to wait 6 months before applying. Because of how long they kept us waiting does that mean I won't be able to go for the next round?

So it means I will get in if there is a space in this set for whatever reason but I will also potentially get into another position in the Thames valley.

6 months means that you will miss the September applications for a march start but you can apply in march for a September start. They might do more as well but in previously years it has been those two months.
