The Manxman Railtour - Day 5, there are 2 paths

Which path should the tour take on the way back 1Z63 or 1Z65? Im confused as to when i should book tickets to get somewhere to see it, i dont want to be there too early or late (1Z65 is about 2 hours after 1Z63)

They'll have to try and fit it around the daily Heysham harbour service as well
Must be the first loco-hauled train to Heysham for years

There have been a few in recent years, I did it in 2020 on a railtour (The Power of Aire?), but I'm fairly sure it has been done since then.

Looks like the presence of the earlier path to/from Morecambe means bussing passengers to Morecambe rather than taking train down to Heysham (as would have to wait until after Northern service had cleared the line) I would guess?

It is running in the earlier path. Passengers have boarded at Morecambe.

Did they change the dates of this tour? When I looked yesterday the agents website said the tour was outbound today, returning friday yet it seems to be returning today?
