Are there any civil parishes that have absoutely zero bus services within their borders? I can not find any in my area around Surrey and Sussex but i presume there must be some in some parts of the country?

Scotland and Wales do not have civil parishes. Both have Community Councils. Is your post restricted only to England?

I am happy to include the Welsh communities and Scottish communities too. I would be interested in those too if any exist without buses. So any civil parish in England or any equivalent in Wales or Scotland would count. Or even in Northern Ireland if they have an equivalent.

I think that Navestock in Essex just manages to qualify. The parish boundary does touch the A128 at one point but between bus stops

In the Scottish Borders Council area, the following four Community Council areas have no public bus services.
Abbey St Bathans, Bonkyl and Preston
Cranshaws, Ellemford and Longformacus
Oxnam Water
Tweedsmuir

Please bare in mind that population density is low in these areas.

There must be hundreds.

Unless there are bus services I don't know of, in West Northamptonshire alone there are 23 by my reckoning: Thenford, Marston St Lawrence, Radstone, Helmdon, Thorpe Mandeville, Sulgrave, Weston and Weedon, Wappenham, Abthorpe, Moreton Pinkney, Woodend, Blakesley, Maidford, Litchborough, Preston Capes, Farthingstone, Everdon, Stowe IX Churches, Hellidon, Catesby, Brockhall, Whilton and Brington.

Back in the distant past, most of these used to have market day and/or peak-hour workers' buses, largely operated by small independents, but all are long gone. Some, such as Brockhall, have never had a bus as far as I'm aware.

The outer Scilly Isles parishes have no bus service; the main island St. Mary's has a summer only service.

Surprisingly, perhaps, most parishes in Devon & Cornwall have a service of some sort, even if it is only a weekly 'market-day' one. There are a few remote Dartmoor ones unserved, however, such as Sampford Spiney, Sheepstor, Gidleigh, Throwleigh.

The parish of Cholmondeston (Cheshire) does not appear to be served by any bus service BUT it did have a bus garage in the fairly recent past! (Routemaster Buses of Nantwich.)

I suspect there are several other unserved parishes in the area; S Cheshire is notable for having relatively small parishes,

Do you count schoolday-only buses? There are plenty in Kent that only have these. Cowden and Smarden have no buses at all, though I haven't checked the detail of the parish boundaries. Maiden Newton in Dorset has only school buses, though it does have a station.

Woore in Shropshire has a population of just over 1,000, and yet no bus service. I honestly think this is pretty poor for a town of this size; its the largest settlement I can think of which is completely void of a bus service.

Ewden Valley, Bolderstone, Strines and Ughill are 4 I can think of in the Sheffield city region

Is this a fixed route bus service or does this include being covered by a DRT service?

Abbey St Bathans, Bonkyl and Preston lost its public bus service in October 2023, when Travelsure service 34 ceased.
