I am travelling Nottingham to London on a weekend day trip.
I belive the any permitted allows travel via Grantham into Kings Cross and I can generate standard class any permitted itineraries that way. (Obviously EMR only fares aren't valid by that route)
However when I try for first class I get no first class fares available. In particular I want to get a first class super off peak day travel card.
I've purchased the ticket using a St Pancras itinerary and the LNER site let me make a separate 1st reservation for the service I hope to get so there are seats.
Anyone know what is going on and whether there is some validity thing going on that means I can't travel via Grantham should I chose to, on that ticket?
