Prior to that was Swanscombe Halt (1st station) which was opened on 2nd November 1908 and then was closed at the opening of the currently open Swanscombe station on 6th July 1930. a distance of 840 yards to the east of the original railway station site ... but to continue......

OBSERVATION

The original station was opened on 21st May 1838. It was relocated on the other side of Wimbledon Bridge on 21st November 1881. However, on this quiz, such was the small distance between the two station sites, that it does not qualify as a posting submission.

Please refer to Rule 4, where Wimbledon is shown as one of the examples of this.
