Interrail 1st class lounge privileges in GB?

Normally when I buy Interrail passes I buy 2nd class. I've bought 1st class before but not really for the GB connecting journey on a Global Pass.

On the LNER website for their lounges it states:

Eligible ticket types for First Class lounges​

Tickets Accepted in LNER First Class Lounge:

• Fully inter-available First Class Season Ticket (i.e. tickets not specific to one train company)
• Any First Class Anytime ticket valid for travel on the LNER route
• Any LNER First Class packages
• First Advance (routed LNER & connections)
• LNER First Class Reader Offer (routed LNER & connections)
• LNER First Class Flat Fare (routed LNER & connections)
• LNER Rewards First Class Leisure Single (routed LNER & connections)
• LNER Self-Print First Class Upgrade voucher (routed LNER & connections)
• Inclusive Tour Tickets (eg. Superbreak)
• Weekend First

It doesn't actually mention Interrail 1st class passes. We'll have LNER 1st class seat reservations.

Logically to me, the pass should be accepted, as it's part of the 1st class package for a normal 1st class ticket. But I'm wondering what the actual practice on the ground is?

Over the last three years I - travelling on a first class All-line Rover - and my friend from France - travelling on a first class Interrail - have had no problems being admitted to the first class lounges at Edinburgh and Kings Cross.

That's good to know, thanks. It's actually King's Cross to Edinburgh that we'll likely be doing, and just wondered about King's Cross lounge access after the Eurostar.

I have to say though that the Kings Cross lounge is nothing like the oasis of calm that is the Avanti lounge at Euston. Sometimes - especially during the Summer holidays - it can be absolute bedlam, with screaming kids running around and climbing on everything, piles of luggage everywhere and a comparatively meagre food and drink offering.
I think I read on another thread recently that the lounge at Waverley is closed UFN due to a rat infestation!

Yeah I know it's nothing special, but we'll be making a long journey from mainland Europe and it'll be nice to hopefully get a decent seat, do some work, and have a snack. I have thankfully never experienced the lounge bedlam so finger's crossed that doesn't happen on this trip

Ah good to know! It'll be later in the year this trip so hopefully done by then

I have had a friend here from Finland on Eurail with 1st class and the pass just accepted without question for access to the 1st LNER lounge at KX .. And the complementary onboard Food..

And also the food on Avanti ...
