The stadium has been used by other teams since. It is probably the best condition land they own!
Doncaster Rovers ladies team have now moved out. Went to see them a few weeks back and there were a couple of visible train carriages visible in Booth's yard from inside the ground.

Sorry, thought it was the exact same link!
It is, but since it was originally posted the information has been updated to correct a mistake (they mixed up the numbers for retained staff/redundant staff).

And a discussion of the land value is entirely on topic for a thread about an administration - the value of the firm's assets is a central component of the process.

Took a walk around the perimeter today. No discernible industrial activity, but plenty of cars parked: I imagine the office staff might have a few things to do for the administrators.
There were some fairly new signs from a security firm on most of the gates (all closed). No notices saying "we're closed" or anything like that.
Visible rolling stock consisted of a few coaches of 465, a bogie tank wagon, and a line-up of three unidentified industrial shunters (I think those shunters are there all the time by the gate that allows rail access across Millmoor Lane).

Booths has been bought out of administration, so it looks like operations will continue.

So those old floodlight pylons at Millmoor and the ground should still be there for anyone needing a place to host football etc, yes I'm aware the lights are no longer used but they are such a part of the area and hold memories for those of us who went to games involving RUFC.

Ah, this would explain why one of the scrap grab machines (I'm not sure of the correct name) was loading scrap into something just now as I went past (15th March Sunday morning 09:45) on a Hull to St Pancras service. There are still the remains of two Southeastern Networker carriahges there too.

A little good news from the buyers of CF BOOTH in Rotherham. The new owner seems keen to use rail, lets see what happens. The access siding is currently signed out of use due to condition of track, so some work is needed first.

As you may have heard, we’ve recently acquired the former CF Booth scrapyard site in Rotherham. It’s a 35 acre site with a main line rail connection, which opens up some great opportunities for how we move material around the country more efficiently (and more sustainably too).
