That is quite a success. Captures the Plymouth I remember from the 2000s.

It has put Harriet a little close to the yellow line, but I suppose her and Dave are rebels.

This was supposed to appear earlier this morning, but completely forgot. What if they were just honest and held the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow every time?

Clearly flagging - what if today's (9-March) Commonwealth Day was observed vividly with locomotive vinyl-wraps, back in 1948?
I do feel there was not enough vinyl wrapping in the steam age. An oversight that your image happily corrects.

I think the "cross out any unwanted years" concept has much potential.
For example, trains of the past 10 years (and the next forty, too) could be vinyl-wrapped proclaiming "HS2 FULL ROUTE OPENS!" - with a multitude of consecutive years.
Invariably, all years will end up crossed out.

That might be a stronger argument for extending the length of trains than the number of standees.

Way on down South London town
In the 1930, the LMS began experimenting with electrification and ordered a small fleet of American smaller GG1s for hauling suburban services around Manchester. These locos were finally withdrawn in the late 80s but saw use by Network SouthEast on ‘Northampton Cobbler’ services

Looks epic. 8-) As to its clearance through the tunnels by West Hampstead / Kilburn / Watford J / Tring / Leighton Buzzard... o_O

What if, the Southern route was still open. The line closure between Totnes and Plymouth was made easier by diverting some services via Okehampton.

This combination of real and AI is dangerous; we have unleashed a monster.

Slightly concerned about clearance for that 80x.

What the wind didn`t damage, the IET will . Ive often found that the first image is usually the best. However, it had my characters rather too large. The one i posted was take 4. Actually Take 3 was a bit better but lacked the 150 therefore losing the fell of passing trains.

Women judges... Nothing screams social progress like Farm Man of the Year:

The cows do not look the least bit impressed.

While the contestants demonstrate their calving skills, the stage is set for them to demonstrate riverdance esque skills in round 3.

A different set of farmers on the stage. It is a popular contest after all.

Note that the Pullman was named by Fred Elliot, I say Fred Elliot.

True colours - what if women had the final say in train livery designs / schemes? The judging-panel here, I suspect, are marking "none of the above"...
In the interests of casual sexism and laddish culture.

Probably The Chariot Pub will want to serve me with a cease and desist over this.

I am curious about the three who clearly emerge from the closed station, and what happened to the others who go into the teleportation service. New people come out at the other end as well.

Maybe this is actually a very clever teleportation service where you select your destination and people board and alight at different places accordingly.

Plenty of pasties in evidence....but where's Wonder Woman on the day after International Women's Day?
I think The Chariot cannot afford the appearance fees. Sponsoring the Farm Man of the Year event will not have been cheap for them

Meanwhile the contest continues and the single track has another new visitor. CrossCountry went from 47s to Voyagers so why not the Police train too?

A small error with forgetting to post the last image means it is not a long gap before the result of Farm Man of the Year is announced. Sadly Wonder Woman was unavailable. Despite the excellent efforts of @Ashley Hill farm hand, the prize actually went to a Mr May from Wonder Woman Farms. No one can accuse there of being a fix. See everyone again for the competition next year.

Annual Steamless Gala - what if today's (11-March) National No Smoking Day was enforced at heritage railways?
1) Battery-electric motive power only?
2) All steam locomotives sidelined and stuffed with particle-catching mesh wad encased in plastic?
3) Zero tolerance to on-platform smoking?

After all the fun of the Farm Man of the Year contest, a few retired to The Chariot for a celebratory ale or 9. It seems that the person responsible for the cow enclosures joined them.

Chaos all evening. The voyager is passing slowly.

The quit smoking Voyager is passing in honour of No Smoking Day.

I must add that any reference to Trainspotting on the Avanti Voyager livery is coincidental. I wish I had thought of it, but I did not.

Slipped away - what if slip-carriage working continued during British Rail, into Sectorisation era?
An IC125 accelerates away from its just-slipped portion. The HST will continue along this diverging branch, whilst the two detached Mk3 carriages will be brought to a halt at the local station just out of view.
