I'm presuming there is no ticket machine allocated to it yet as I don't see it on tracking.
Also, whats with the ticketer contactless machines now appearing on some of the newer double deckers by the front left seats?

Its a demostrator, therefore it is there for demonstration to East Yorkshire. It may not lead to orders but how else are Volvo & MCV meant to gleen info and orders if they don't loan companies a vehicle for them to look over and/or use?

They are the 'tap off' machine for tap-on, tap-off, so it looks like it's coming to EY which is good news. Interestingly, this week I've seen them fitted to a Gemini (20745) and Centro (20362) which are both 2008 vehicles which I'd assumed would be retired soon, but clearly not. Makes me happy though as I'd rather have a decent diesel sound than a boring electric!

Well, the positioning needs to be worked on - driver had to tap the brakes a bit hard and I grazed it as I flew forward

Yep it is 20939, To remember, the only 2 electric wright buses in The EY Depot are 20939 MF75 EOG and 20315 MA75 CMV
May still leave, the new tap off system may role out before any buses leave and all buses would need to be fitted with it when it comes live

There isn't any news regarding fares for the 2026 Moorbus services but I am guessing that they will stay the same as they did last year?

Thats good - might make quite a bit this year given the four day weekend plus Saturdays this year... I can see that, maybe, appealing to parents on access weekends taking the kids on a bus to see a steam engine at the NYMR

Noticed that the 2 'ValeRider' E400 Cities have had the X3 and 128 branding removed. I wonder if they'll get 28 branding instead.
I noticed last Saturday that the 80/31X working started as a 81 from Sheriff Hutton into York. It looks like the 81 and 194 are now operated from Morse Coaches' Depot in Sheriff Hutton so is the 80/31X bus based in Sheriff Hutton now or is Pocklington doing a 81 working on Saturdays?

When passing through Pickering and Thornton-le-Dale yesterday, I noticed that timetable posters for the X3 were still up at bus stops, a long with timetables for the X28. No mention of the 28.

I noticed a lack of timetable information for the 28 on Friday myself when I was there for Viscount's last day. I was quite surprised by it and I hope they put some up soon enough because not everyone has the use of the internet and I don't think Pickering library has timetables in it

The 182 timetable is back on EY's website and is under the 'North Riding' section, hopefully the rest of the Procters routes will join soon.

The EYMS site has a notice of them running the M1 and M3 and oddly makes the distinction between Danby and Danby Lodge which it never did before

Thankfully, Moorsbus have the times up and have confirmed on Facebook that prices are the same as last year so all in all, it seems fairly sorted now for it

In other news, the 183 operation seems to have gone from a normal bus to one of those fancy minibuses which I can only assume is so it can get to Hessle Station better

Here’s where it gets a bit confusing, 20318 Is MA75 CMZ, 20319 is MA75 CNC, 20320 is MA75 CNF and 20321 is MA75 CNJ, Then why does MA75 CNE State that it was green??? Is it for GNE??
Or maybe it is MA75 CNC that was the odd one out

Yes they will. Its a shame we couldn't have had local plates on them especially given some of the other op co such as Southern Vectis are getting local plates on theirs

Any news on whether the 200 is to be run in 2026 please? It looks like it ran from April 2025 but I can't find anything for this year. I need it to comtinue the Yorkshire Wolds Way north from Thixendale.
