I'd love to see that scene with double track, pallisade fencing and 25kV AC OHLE. ;)
You know what to do...

Meanwhile, in response to the post of Mr Bean the Scarecrow:

To me this is 100% realistic, but perhaps because there is an angle on the black of the 150/2 it is right that I put it here.

Meanwhile in Devon the persistent flooding has led to some sightings of unusual aquatic life…..

Those of you who use Google's Nano Banana Pro AI engine - either its limited cap with daily free-to-use images, or its far less restrictive subscription -have you experienced big drop in image resolution and file-size since early yesterday?
Mine has deteriorated by two-thirds.
Quick search yields very little, other than that Google might have intentionally lowered its performance settings...

Mine dropped a couple of weeks ago. There was a time when I was converting to .jpg to bring the file size down enough to post. Now they are all 2.8MB as png so I am not doing any conversion.

That would be consistent with 2/3rds reduction. I used my limit generating the Pendolino at Ribblehead so am out until tonight for realistic images.

If you reach your daily limit for generating pro images, it's easy to log out of Gemini and log in again with a different gmail or googlemail account. As each account has a separate daily limit, you can effectively use as much data as you like.

Great picture....but the viaduct appears to be parallel to the electrified line. Was it by-passed by a new cut-off at the time of electrification.... complete with realistically-weathered new build stone station building? ;)

The heritage lobby said no to electrifying Ribblehead. As two-fingers to the heritage lobby, the old station was moved on a giant raft and the viaduct by-passed.

My bigger concern is what they then did with the pub. Perhaps move it into the gap where the station once stood.

Cross Country Trains deny there are overcrowding issues on their trains calling at Sheffield.

Wow....a Wonder Woman convention! - or is it a hen party? The girls don't seem too concerned about getting on the train. Maybe they've just got off? (....or should I rephrase that?)
Platform 3 is commonly used for the Huddersfield train, so perhaps they are on their way to Dodworth ;)

* Today the 14:35, 15:35, 18:35, 19:35 and 20:35 are using 3.

Here's a stroll through Grant Shapps' memory banks with appropriate rose-tinted spectacles.

I tried to make the scene more run down but with 'perfection' visible through the glasses and a lower viewpoint/higher glasses. Unfortunately, Gemini flatly refused to change anything except put cracked tarmac visible through the lenses.

Hmm....single track station with platforms either side and double track catenary? I wonder where that could be?

I think Greenday have a song about that carriage (well this is the unrealisitic thread and the song came out before the 387, so it may have been a prophecy rather than a reaction)

You think you'd had it bad @Ashley Hill The Arun Valley and West Coastway looks like this. I don't condone train surfing, mind.
Somewhere, a class 387 GX carriage floats alone...
I'm floating down the line
That divides the coast and depths unknown
On the East Coastway Line
Off the edge, and where I float alone

Anyone left on the platform is going to get wet when SRN4 gets the RA.

I wait for hours it seems
On the Underground of broken dreams;
Hear the addict's screams -
Am I the only one who walks alone?

I ride this train of hell,
On the Jubilee Line TfL -
What's that urine smell?
Am I the only one who rides alone?

TOUCHE @Topological :D
To be fair, that destroys my effort.

I am on a near-empty CrossCountry voyager, so who wins really? (If anyone posted an image of this train in the realistic AI thread it would be moved over here before anyone even blinked)

I am putting this here because it made me a 3-car 150/2 and that does not exist. However, I actually think this is a great reflection of life in TfW land.

These measures may become increasingly necessary through the Somerset levels, along former broad gauge territory only, clearly.

What's the block code for that? line clear for semiaquaatic approaching on both liines? boat on line? I'm confused.

Brilliant image.

You're right, though: it is clearly Mad, for it is overcast; thus I can't see if my shadow's the only one that walks beside me. ;)

So, I've asked Gemini's Nano Banana Pro to produce an East Midlands Railway HST; I then wrote that lyric-line. Here's the result.

I'm doing it like my 1978 Hornby HST set: I put the powered DMB cab-to-cab with the dummy DMB - and then whack the controller on full.
Maybe that's why mine had so much carpet fluff inside it. ;)
I swapped my HST for a Blue Pullman. A good move? The jury’s still out.
