Metrobus have recently received 5 evoras in stock white on a temporary basis to replace some hydrogen buses. I wonder if these have been diverted

Maybe they're being held back to be 26 plates or straight to paint before entry into service?
Luton depot of Centrebus have plain white evora BU75 WHB parked up at the minute.
Possibly, I suppose time will tell.

Yes 811, 814 and 815 are in Transpeak and 812, 813 in High Peak
I've seen on Facebook somewhere but can't remember where, but there's 2 new 2nd hand buses come in.

Indeed it has. There were seven sold by Edwards as I recall - replaced by seven new examples - and I can't help wondering if Centrebus have snapped up all seven.

I wonder why they aren't painting the new buses. Quite a few in stock white and now this sky blue bus
Could be space at the paint shop? I think they use First at Adderley Green to do them?

The other six are to a different length and are still up for sale.
The MMC was made into a 1.76 scale model fairly recently which is quite ironic as it was modelled from when it was an Edwards vehicle. It has been coded as MMC2A/B if anyone is interested!

Salts closed down a couple of years ago. The Cannock depot doesn’t have a proper paint shop, it’s mainly used for body repairs.
Still loads of old buses in different livery ie ex 9s 1s , plumline

I can't see these ever getting painted. Surely they won't waste money on vehicles that are nearing the end of service

They use First and Shirley's from what I've heard.

I know the nines versas are going very soon. I'm unsure on the old orange one buses however.
Where is Shirley's ?
I'm not too sure to be honest, all I know is they have them painted at somewhere called Shirley's. Looked it up and all that comes up is a lorry place.

I don't know whether they have a paint shop and if they have whether D & G use it. But there is a Shirley's Transport, as stated by @Contains Nuts it is near to Cellarhead, just south of the A52 / A520 crossroads:

YJ68FWC was on the 85 this morning. Didn't notice a fleetnumber
785 is it's number.
Surprised that they painted those Solos at Chaserider, I suppose it’s a sign that they aren’t going anywhere yet despite being 18 years old!
