Travelling from St Pancras, I understand that if I have an East Midlands Rover ticket, I simply need to buy a buy a single or return ticket as far as the EM Rover southern boundary at Bedford - even if EMR Intercity services do NOT stop at Bedford. IS that correct?

I've been told clause 14.3 allows me to do that. In which case - what are the earliest trains i can use to arrive within the East Midlands rover Zone?

Many thanks for your help in advance.

The multi-day East Midlands Rover is valid from 0900 (midweek). I would say that the 0836 London St Pancras to Sheffield midweek EMR service could be used, as it's not timed to pass Bedford / enter the zone until 0907. You'll also need something like a £34.80 Anytime Day Single from London Terminals to Bedford Stations, in combination with the East Midlands Rover (and some other ticket as well, if/when returning to London).

Or use the non stop Avanti services from Euston to Tamworth and just pay to Milton Keynes which is cheaper. Depends on your destination

Can a weekly St Pancras to Bedford Season ticket be used in conjunction with the rail rover provided I don't use a train exiting St Pancras earlier than the 0836 St Pancras to Sheffield midweek service outbound?
