Kitchen equipment in locomotives

I was reminded recently that Finland's new Siemens Vectron locomotives (the Sr3) have a microwave in one of the cabs for drivers to heat food in, especially when waiting in loops for trains to clear the single line ahead. AFAIK it's the first train in Finland to have such a feature, but apparently it's a standard add-on for Vectron locomotives. Unfortunately I don't think there's a coffee machine, but drivers often nip to the buffet car to get a coffee if they're driving passenger trains from the driving trailer (or Pendolinos).

This got me thinking: are there any locomotives in the UK (or any other rolling stock) that have kitchen equipment in them designed to be used by the driver? I know that a lot of the infrastructure monitoring (IM) fleet (e.g. the NMT) has equipment for the crew onboard, but I can't think of anything else that does.

Many of the larger "more important" locos on British Railways were provided with an electric cooker in one of the cabs, class 47s in particular. IIRC one of the AC loco classes had it just behind the bulkhead in the "engine room". These were mostly used for boiling water cands for hot drinks, but some drivers would cook or warm food on them. I remember one driver who would cook onions in tin foil on them, but thqt could also be done on the engine block itself.

Steam locos had their built in oven of course, as well as a handy shovel to cook the food on. Nothing better than a bacon and egg sarnie cooked in the firebox !!

Most BR Mk1 and Mk2 brake compartments had a pie warmer on one of the office walls.

With that awful retainer strip to stop stuff sliding off. Awful because many of the damn things went into a death rattle at certain (loco) power settings. Boots, bags or coats could damp it but that was no use if there was a hot mash can on the go.

The only thing that could drown out a Sulzer engine on full power, I really hope that you don't restart my nightmares .......
