Surprised it hasn't been posted here already but according to an internal post that i have seen the X19, X74 and Citylink 900 will be fully transferring to West Coast Motors with some staff being TUPED over. The 909 will be transferring to Perth.

I’ve heard the same from a current stagecoach Cumbernauld employee. Staff have entered a consultation period.

The internal memo has staff being Tuped over to West Coast Motors and X19, X74 and 900 being operated out of South Street premises which WCM have recently moved out of.

I suspect we may see a similar situation to previous years where services remain with Stagecoach but operated by WCM staff that have transferred over.

I feel like Stagecoach should keep the E400MMCs (10511-10520, 10523, 10524, and 10932) for the X19 and cascade the shorter E200MMCs to another part of Stagecoach’s operations in the UK or send them back to Ayr to replace the older E200s, once the depot at Cumbernauld is sold off and the X25/X25A services are transferred to First Glasgow.

As I’ve noticed the X19 is really packed with those shorter E200MMCs in the morning peaks, while the E400MMCs can handle the passenger intake much better.

I could see them swapping the last two of their BYD E400EVs (84070 & 84071) to Killmarnock (to join the rest of their batch that they got back in 2025) for a few E400MMCs (mainly 10919 & 10132 which are the only SN67 plates left in the West/South Scotland fleet).

It seems like such a waste to get rid of all the E400MMCs, like I said, they are already much better suited on the X19 compared the the short E200MMCs that replaced the E300s originally.

They won't keep them if the X19 won't even be ran by Stagecoach anymore by the looks of things

In the current fleet plan, East Scotland should have 15 E300’s left after St Andrews’ BZL’s enter service - eventually. I can see a scenario where East Scotland takes 37482-37496 (15 vehicles) to replace the final E300’s.

Mind you the transferred South East 37497-37500 are surplus, so it might be a case of whoever gets those gets all 19.

is west Scotland struggling for buses atm or is it just me thinking wrong? Cos not all their share electric deckers moved to Ardrossan for 11/18 and the e400 they have are out daily along with spare e300 filling up the route.

I think they are, cause they had to have one of the Brodick Solos on loan for a short time to Ardrossan for a couple of days.

I think its a shortage at Kilmarnock thats not freeing up the deckers to move to Ardrossan hence Ardrossan having anything and everything show up on a route atm. Wonder why the shortage

Chargers are not hooked up at ardrossan yet. Buses are constantly going to killie getting swapped then taken down nursery avenue for charge.

Customer services won't tell the public about what is happening until staff are aware and details are discussed and finalised with them.

The story goes that it will be a Stagecoach service operated by WCM and staff transferred to WCM. I can also see it fully transferring to WCM once the process is fully completed of transferring staff

According to bustimes, Perth’s 19373 SV58 BMU has moved to West Scotland (No proof given publicly)
