I’d hope so, the versas wouldn’t suit the comet at all - and if 750 was really that badly damaged with new(er) buses intended for comet soon i doubt they would’ve worked that hard to get it back on the road - good news for the comet!Yes, old buses with other issues are invaluable in cases like this.. Maybe the days of Versas on the Comet, are behind us now.![]()
Well, someone has told me that 750 has broken down on Mansfield Road. But if they are short of buses, due to fire and collision victims, it might have been the easiest to fix.I’d hope so, the versas wouldn’t suit the comet at all - and if 750 was really that badly damaged with new(er) buses intended for comet soon i doubt they would’ve worked that hard to get it back on the road - good news for the comet!
There was certainly some roadworks affecting the V3 around Repton, that saw buses diverting via the A38. Maybe it is in the travel alerts section. Now you mention 301 after the incident in Tutbury. The Diamond Bus involved seemed to carry on , albeit about 10 minutes lateThe Express 38 and The Villager are a bus down today, the latter having 301 off from the incident the other day. Derby aren’t quite there with enough vehicles to run all services yet.
Are there roadworks affecting the V3 today? They have served Repton and Willington but have gone back on themselves and got on the A38 towards Burton.
The temporary lights near Newton Solney have now unexpectedly become a full road closure meaning a trip via the A38 is required to get to Burton. The Express 38 and The Villager are a bus down today, the latter having 301 off from the incident the other day. How many are likely to be shown off? Presume just E9LsKinchbus' new electric buses are being shown off this Thursday at Loughborough for anyone interested.
Yea that was me on mansfield road ahaha decided it wanted to be limp mode but after some work at depot it was back out and worked for the rest of the day. You have to expect some niggles when a volvo has been sat around for a while they dont like it ahahaWell, someone has told me that 750 has broken down on Mansfield Road. You could be getting a reputation for "not getting far". Very true, they don't like standing around. I remember when the batch came off the Twos; some of which helped out in yellow.Yea that was me on mansfield road ahaha decided it wanted to be limp mode but after some work at depot it was back out and worked for the rest of the day. Seems to be only two, one with generic branding and the other with Sprint branding. How many are likely to be shown off? Presume just E9Ls
Yes, 3106 with Sprint branding, and 3111 in standard Kinch livery.Seems to be only two, one with generic branding and the other with Sprint branding.
Are most of them going to be route branded ?Yes, 3106 with Sprint branding, and 3111 in standard Kinch livery.
On the e9s only the sprints it seems are route brandedAre most of them going to be route branded ?
Most of the E9Ls will be sprint branded. Are most of them going to be route branded ?
And Kinchbus 5It is my understanding that they'll be looking to fully launch an electric service on Sprint and Campus Shuttle from Monday.
It wasn't you again at Alfreton today, was it?Yea that was me on mansfield road ahaha decided it wanted to be limp mode but after some work at depot it was back out and worked for the rest of the day. What about the e12s? Will they be branded for the 2,9,11 and 12On the e9s only the sprints it seems are route branded
I'd have thought they would just carry Kinchbus, then any of them could work any service. What about the e12s? Will they be branded for the 2,9,11 and 12
But most of those services have had route branding for most of their history, even when the 2 only ran every 80 minutes. The thing that scuppered route branding on the 2 and the 9 was the premature withdrawal of the Citaros.I'd have thought they would just carry Kinchbus, then any of them could work any service.
Yeah it was one of the diamond streetdecks, thankfully not a serious RTC but the lower high street is annoying in Tutbury at the best of times. 301 had its emergency door window smashed, not sure how long it will take for that to be replaced.Well, someone has told me that 750 has broken down on Mansfield Road. Given where it was i recon it will be VOR for a bit. I did see a mango eclipse passing through Tutbury earlier to fill it's gap (780)Well, it still awaits repair.
I think 780 had been off since early JanuaryGiven where it was i recon it will be VOR for a bit. I did see a mango eclipse passing through Tutbury earlier to fill it's gap (780)
Yeah last tracked on the 3rd, although its tracking again now unless there's been a ticket machine swap.I think 780 had been off since early January
Nope, 780 is on the Villager.Yeah last tracked on the 3rd, although its tracking again now unless there's been a ticket machine swap.

No wasn't me today but it ment i had the delight of 492 on the last comet on the night....It wasn't you again at Alfreton today, was it?![]()
I'd wonder if the buses released will appear on other routes.. The Solos 2-5 aren't compliant for Sheffield. The new kinchbus electric yutongs E9LS 3101-3111 have entered service today they can be found on campus shuttle,sprint,5,12 today
Don't think 478,479,498 Solos are either aswell as versas 801 822 which makes only Solos 501 and 503 and versa 830 complient for sheffield as all volvo b7s are non complientComet Volvo 750 doesn't seem to stay in service long, after it's rear end rebuild. Managed one return trip to Chesterfield today. It seems to have come out of service about 5 days on the trot.
