I'll be commuting on various routes in London over the upcoming months, but instead of learning the hard way which Zone 1 intra-station transfers are long and/or difficult, I was hoping to get some expert feedback ahead of time as to the ease or difficulty of transfers from one line to another. To be specific, how many minutes walking (snd/or how far) are the intra-station transfers for these connections at Zone 1 interchange stations:

Waterloo station: southbound Northern Line to eastbound Jubilee line
Bank station: eastbound Central Line to eastbound DLR
Green Park station: westbound Piccadilly Line to southbound Victoria Line
Tottenham Court Road station: eastbound Elizabeth Line to southbound Northern Line

No need to necessarily answer all -- just any connections with which you are familiar. And any tips or tricks for shortening the transfers appreciated as well! Thanks.

TCR - changing from the Elizabeth Line to the Northern line is doable in three minutes assuming you’re positioned at the front of the Elizabeth line train. If you know the route and walk reasonably quickly, you could probably do it in under 90 seconds.

Green Park - I don’t know how long to specifically allow for this change, but any change at Green Park takes forever

Any change at Green Park to or from the Piccadilly line you should follow the way out signs and ride escalators and go via the ticket hall. Aim to be at the west end of the Piccadilly line platforms if arriving

Bank, Central Line -> DLR.
It is a while ago I made that interchange, but provided no major rebuild or permanent closure has taken place affecting that area (I do remember making it after the new Northern Line platform had opened, though), the best way used to be to take the circular stairs down from the middle of the Central Line platforms using the old interchange to the Northern Line. Just before reaching the narrow stairs to the Northern Line platform(s), there are two short passages on your right reaching the DLR escalators on your left. If you are at the right spot.... can probably be done in 2-3 minutes, but can take more time if the passage is crowded.

Waterloo station: southbound Northern Line to eastbound Jubilee line

If it's your first time doing it, then it'll probably take you 4 minutes or so. It's a long walk down a long corridor, albeit with a travelator. After your first couple of times, if you're quick, you'd be able to do it in about 2 minutes.

Timings largely depend on whether you have a group of people standing (and not walking) on the travelator, as this tends to cause quite the backlog with little room to comfortably walk past a group of people doing it. Even one person standing or slowly walking quite often causes a backlog on these travelators as once you've committed to walking on the travelator, you can't get off and use the conventional walkway.

Maybe you could let us know your origin and destination stations. Then we can advise the best interchange(s).

I don't know what the Jubilee is like post covid but when I commuted it became rammed solid at Waterloo in the morning peak. If your destination is on the south bank between Waterloo and London Bridge then walking is probably a better option.

Occasionally still happens there when there are service gaps, notably eastbound, even at weekends, particularly if the signage is up sending those from the upper Waterloo escalator to just one of the two lower escalators, which go to opposite platform ends. Not sure why this is done. To overcome, turn to the opposite direction platform, walk halfway along, then cross back to your direction one. As with some Liz platforms the same, with entrances at both ends, the quietest bit is in the middle.

If you don't know the shopping centre well, it can feel like a maze, but it's really not that bad.
I've done it in 5 minutes but that was jogging pace / dodging crowds, I'd allow 10 minutes minimum and ideally 15.

Exit HS1 gateline, turn right, exit station, up big steps, go straight ahead for ages (path curves round to the left a bit) and you'll eventually be spat out by a big bridge over the railway line, go down one level rather than crossing the bridge, turn right and you'll be at Stratford station entrance, then maybe 60 seconds from there to the Overground plats.

It will probably be quicker on the DLR, even if the next DLR is in 10mins. As Stratford International DLR and Stratford are in the same fare zone, the ticket fare to your destination is likely to be the same.
