I’ve been a Shunter for a freight company for the past 5 years, when I was with them I had my ID card that had my PTS, Ac, DC etc on it. I’ve now moved to NR and they are surprised I don’t own a sentinel card. Can anyone confirm if my competencies will carry over ?

It does seem like TOC & FOCs have different rules regarding the need for sentinel cards however now you have started with NR they can order you one.
Your competencies will be linked to your sentinel number.

@Rdev96 do you have an online profile? It appears that you can request a "Virtual Card", although I've just realised that you need the physical card first (see above).
I don’t have a number, the number on my freight card was just my employee number, it must be logged somewhere with network rail as I was constantly on T3 engineering sites as the loads examiner and had to sign in via network rail

You will more than likely have to do PTS again. If you don't have a number you're not on Sentinel.
