My wife and I intend booking a short trip to Glasgow for early 2026 and fancy a trip to Rothesay.
This involves a train from Glasgow Central to Wemyss Bay, then a ship over to Rothesay .. all very exciting
Looking at ticket prices, it looks like it will be £30.60 for the two of us (with senior railcards) Tickets seem to be classed as anytime return
As it will be in January, the weather will, no doubt play a factor, perhaps on the actual ferry crossing, but also on our desire to make the journey. Will the prices quoted be the same, if we purchase tickets on the day of travel ?
