I assume any excuse to leave the cab and have a leg stretch is welcome.B) Even when its kneeling, drivers seem to almost teleport out the cab in order to deploy/unfold the ramp

The next step is to have it open on Saturdays!
Firstly, the Orchard Park 'dead run' thing is because that is how East Yorkshire has set up their ad-hoc DEAD run to be in Ticketer. It uses stop code '2290YHA00391' as the origin and destination stop (presumably a random stop they could find), and so the locality of the destination bus stop becomes the bus destination.Looking for some info if anyone has any, bustimes is showing 20889, BX55 XLV, an open top B7TL Gemini currently in Grimsby on a 'Dead' run to Orchard Park which is currently parked at a school Clee Road. I'm assuming this is a miss track for a coach unless some special event needing an open topper in December is happening?
Useful to know re the dead running, not familiar with how EY operate that being this side of the bridge! Thanks for the info. Assumed it's a miss track due to the vehicles sporadic tracking previously (having not ran since August) and the fact it's a EY vehicle this side of the bridge but festivities does make sense, although surprised it's not a SCEM vehicle given we have several OTs this side of the bridge.Firstly, the Orchard Park 'dead run' thing is because that is how East Yorkshire has set up their ad-hoc DEAD run to be in Ticketer. As for the reasonings, why jump to conclusions about it being a mistrack? A number of open toppers are being used around the country to spread the festive cheer. The vehicles aren't used in the winter really so they are ideal to make use of for other purposes such as santa buses.
Pretty poor that they are closing the travel centre, I thought go ahead was supposed to be differentThe Phone line returns!

Swings and roundabouts I suppose, a loss for those in the Hull area but for anyone in Scarborough, Bridlington, Goole, York, etc, it's a gain to have the phone line return.Pretty poor that they are closing the travel centre, I thought go ahead was supposed to be different
I was under impression that EYMS's Electrics will enter service same time as Stagecoach Hulls or that's what the council wantedIs it safe to say the electrics won’t be arriving till after new year now
That would be a shame considering stagecoach aren’t getting theirs till at least March apparentlyI was under impression that EYMS's Electrics will enter service same time as Stagecoach Hulls or that's what the council wanted
It's a Sunday-only service using one bus running between 0930 and 1730, linking Woodthorpe and Bishopthorpe with York city centre. Pocklington only has one other year-round Sunday service (the 747) so it shouldn't be stretching the fleet too thin.I see there is a 15/x15 now registered for York- they really are stretching things now
Ex Hybrid E400s I heardAny idea what’s supposed to be leaving once the electrics finally get here
Aren't the two 05/55 Volvo deckers and the 56 plate single decker Volvo also leaving?Ex Hybrid E400s I heard
At a guess the ex hybrid E400s, 698, 705, 712/3, 348 and the Centros. The native 07 reg Geminis can't have long left either. I have also heard the DOEs are down to go as wellAny idea what’s supposed to be leaving once the electrics finally get here
Mid January was the last I heardAny news on the electrics yet, they taking ages to arrive
Metrocity 21031 also at Cleckheaton helping out on the 571.Optare Metrocity 21032 has moved from Leeming Bar to Cleckheaton and has been seen on the 571 still wearing Procters branding.
Do you know what regs they may be , are they going to be MA75 xxx like the gne onesMid January was the last I heard
I believe they will have Manchester registrations, it's a shame they aren't Yorkshire registrations in my view and why Manchester I'm unsureDo you know what regs they may be , are they going to be MA75 xxx like the gne ones
