Tomorrow’s CDF-MAN 1254 1W59 seems to be the only unallocated Manchester premier service.

It looks likely to be 67022/HD07 - does anyone “in the know” have any more definite information please, assuming of course things don’t go unexpectedly wrong once service begins? Wondering if I should aim for that or the one before it!

The diagram seems to go 1W33 5V33 5W59 1W59… unless it’s being taken out of service at Cardiff for maintenance or whatever.

Thank you

That diagram isn't right. The diagram connected to 1W59 is 1W11's. Tomorrow it's meant to be 67025 set HD02.

The set off 1V33, HD07, goes on to form 1W61/1V62.

Diagrams which start in Canton (which that one does) never show until the early hours.

6 sets available for tomorrow's 5 diagrams so should be fine. 1W59 is pencilled in for 67025+HD02

Thanks for the clarification

As for the guessed diagram, I was going off today’s allocations which had 67025/HD02 on both the above-mentioned journeys.

Perhaps there was an anomaly today.

Yes 2 sets had amended working off Cardiff this afternoon, HD02 being one of them.

HD02 has had a bit of a mixup today and is currently working 1V58, I'm almost certain it'll be swapped at Cardiff, if not then absolutely at Swansea. Just means I can have this rather interesting looking screenshot!

Wouldn’t say a mix up,
Very good planning.

Delayed 1 hour on 1W59 because of a bridge strike, ran through to Manchester 1 hour late to form 1V58 back, 1V50 started at Crewe on time with a 197.

Indeed, there must have been some degree of planning and thought gone into the process given that even before it gets to Cardiff 1V58 is booked to be worked in part by crews who don't sign 67s

Anybody know if other sets are out today?

Thanks

John
Theres 3 diagrams today all with 1 working each:
1- 05:07 Crewe-Cardiff
2- 05:27 Holyhead-Crewe
3- 17:22 Cardiff to Holyhead

The full 5 diagrams will resume on 31st when engineering work at Cardiff finishes.

I noticed on Saturday 27th there was zero MK4 diagrams. I travelled from Manchester with my Mum on Saturday, after staying with family over Christmas up North. Lots of cancellations from Manchester, ended up getting a Northern service to Crewe and picking up the TFW service there, which fortunately was formed of 5 cars but still extremely busy.

I noticed Swanline was incorporated into the Manchester-Swansea service due to nothing going beyond Swansea but strangely there was a Swanline in each direction every hour which is more than the usual weekday service! (which also explains the lack of MK4 as i believe they cannot stop at Swanline stops)

Sunday I noticed there were MK4's in pretty much the usual timetable perhaps as there is no Swanline involvement on a Sunday.

Is first class declassified on these? No first class tickets seem to be on sale.

There was one, the only booked one was the 20:10 Cardiff to Crewe. Saturday was chaos throughout the network with multiple infrastructure issues and unit faults/failures causing short forms.

Yes ! Very limited MK4’s planned in
Service due to very limited capacity at Cardiff because of the engineering works, Sundays diagram the same
Because they didn’t get affected by it.

The MK4's return to normal today however I see there is something that has become very very rare these days on the Cardiff-Manchester route is covering one of the diagrams. A 158!
