Unfortunately the First Leeds 28 is the only service here, and the bus stops on Otley Road are more than half a mile away even by the footpath across the fields. The first bus out on a Sunday isn't until nearly 09:00, so as we don't fancy a long cold night on a park bench we decide to board the 23:56 First Leeds 28, alighting at Woodhouse, Leeds University at 00:12 in the early hours of Sunday.

Sadly with no more departures, any other services or a rail station nearby, that last move has concluded our travels for the day a little earlier than anticipated. The nature of the very thinly operated services around here also means that we are subject to a later start the next day. We seek refuge in McDonalds and return in the morning for the 0925 Chaserider service 828A to Rugeley Bus Station, arriving there at 0933 on Tuesday.
