Guard assaulted on my TfW train (Sat. 20/12)

Just been on a Holyhead train, I boarded at Colwyn Bay and it was all chaos on the train and platform. Guard been assaulted apparently, the police have got him - I never saw them at the station but good result.

Guard very shaken up but will be okay thank goodness. I hope the culprit gets a suitable punishment.

I was on this train but alighted much earlier than Colwyn Bay.

I was surprised by the number of people lager from the trolley (and that the trolley was selling lager at this time in the morning). Not necessarily related but it doesn't seem like a wise strategy to me.

Had some pretty daft experiences on the Warrington to Chester service this morning as well.

Many people are capable of drinking alcohol, at any time of day, without assaulting anyone. And plenty of assaults are committed by people who have not been drinking.

Presumably that last sentence was meant to be "people who have not been drinking" ?
