Yeah, accepted formal offer and had my contract and everything after I done my medical

Yea did mine about 2 weeks ago and had email few days ago stating passed, doing back checks to see what test I have done before want will contact me back next year to let me know about assessment dates!
Thank you for letting me know, I’ll probably shoot recruitment an email later as I got my medical report a week ago and haven’t had anything since.

Hello guys, I’ve recently applied for the trainee train driver apprenticeship with gtr. Does anyone have any tips on how I can prepare for upcoming assessments and interviews if successful?

More or less, you’ll find out everything on the day apart from your ECG if they send it off to a cardiologist. Everything else they test you’ll find out there and then basically.
Training I don’t know yet but I will be a trainee for Exeter so hopefully down this way somewhere lol
I did my interview on the 3rd Dec, I heard back on the 15th - sucessful, just waiting to hear back about the psychometric tests - I've already sat them in the timeframe so hoping that it's straight to DMI for me!
They didn’t send off my ECG from what I remember, maybe there was something on it they needed to double check? Have recruitment come back to you? They normally reply same day as I’ve been in contact with them recently so they are fairly good at responding to any queries.
Yeah they sent mine off as it wasn’t exactly textbook and the doctor said he’d send it off to see if there was anything hidden but he didn’t seem all that worried and that’s come back all clear a week ago anyways. Emailed recruitment earlier and haven’t heard anything back but I’ve had to wait a day or so before so not overly worried at the minute!

I had mine early November, found out same day I had passed and heard nothing further. They did state that course were full until Feb.

I had my medical and passed today, had it with an examiner then a doctor when through my results with me after.
I’ve already had my offer of employment through, a couple of hours after I passed the medical.

Someone here said there are more courses coming for April/May
Im still awaiting an answer from recruitment as to what’s happened with my formal offer as I received my medical report a week ago but still no formal offer. I emailed them on Wednesday and haven’t had a reply yet so I’ll probably shoot off another one today to try and catch them before Christmas.

I applied for this yesterday. Did the SJT and then did the error checking test. Not got any email after completing the error test. I don’t know if it’s a fail or not.
You won't get a response until after the job advert has closed (closing date is advertised in the ad)

Just heard back from recruitment. Got a pass for Gloucester for the video interview.
Hopefully straight to DMI as I have passed the psychometrics.

I went suited and booted, there were others there a bit more casual but they might have already worked for the company.

Yeah from what they said they’re just waiting on a couple of bits from Occupational Health so I’ll probably get my offer through sometime after Christmas now.
What format did you receive your medical report? Was it via post or email? I passed my medical about a month ago and haven’t heard anything. Did email HR a few weeks ago but haven’t had a response.
