Well done, that's good news, I am one year into my own cancel treatment luckily, I'm just under observation, but mine was only because of a blood test, I had no other indications, my advice to anyone is get yourself tested,

In my case the tests were very quickly arranged, the worse bit, was the biopsies but it had to be done, being told you have cancer takes a lot out of you, but, in my case. I was lucky, mines very benign average PSA about 4.0 for most of the year,

That's such reasurring news @martin butler and I hope your PSA count continues to be on the right side of recovery.

My elderly father is just coming through his second time of bone marrow cancer (2011 previously). Both times, we were told his chances of survival were slim; yet, both tines, he has confounded the specialists.
He continues bone marrow infusions - but his hospital visits have now scaled back to monthly.
Knowing I'll see him this Christmas, was an early present for me.

OK, so what's made me happy, this has, I write songs, for pastimes, normally on guitar, but my playing is not the most proficient,

For a very long time, since childhood, I wanted to learn the piano, we had one in the family home, but my mother, who it was, refused to teach me, or even use it, if i got lessons, so I gave up,

When I retired, I learnt the guitar, just basics, and started writing, but some songs, I just could not seem to find the right music for, I was just browsing, and a site I often bought guitars from, had a black Friday sale, and in the sale was a clearance electronic full size keyboard, very reasonably priced, So I checked my options, and it was affordable, So I am now the owner of a keyboard, and it even was delivered yesterday, just one day after ordering, and I didn't even ask for next day,

So once the stand comes, its my Christmas present to myself
