Morning,

Mulling over a trip to the south west in the new year, I've not really been following the GWR fleet situation but just to give me an idea, with the loss of the HSTs, IET engine issues and only minimal 175 diagrams, is the amount of cancellations due to lack of available stock going to be any more of an issue than normal?

Thanks

Most likely yes, although they are supposedly getting extra 150s to help

It is only 3 diagrams being replaced so stick with the 802 services and you should be fine

GWR have published latest performance statistics
first full period after taking remaining HSTs out of service
covers period 11 (4-31 January)

Overall 5.09% cancelled by GWR, but trains to South West particularly bad

EF04 London-West of England 13.36% cancelled, just 44.1% on time
EF11 Devon 9.70% cancelled, 67.44% on time
EF12 Plymouth & Cornwall 9.71% cancelled, 69.21% on time

January was a wet and stormy month
