Whenever this comes up, I always imagine the parallel universe in which decisions were made earlier and the old Kings Cross goods areas used for all HS rather than becoming Google et al.
I do not fully know if the space would have been easily used, but imagine having international and domestic HS services in a single building with easy transfers (needs border so cannot be cross platform) and maybe even through trains.
As it is, Euston is not that bad an idea.
