Unfortunately I don’t speak German but it does seem like their social media has taken quite a tongue in cheek turn lately. I think they’ve been working with a comedian called Anke which led to the release of this very catchy self-parodying song.

The first three frames refer to a new DB web series Boah Bahn (Wow Rail), available on Youtube, described on IMDB:

Some of the images are quite amusing (a suggestion that you bake Advent cakes in the shape of a train seat, with icing for the cushions), which is the intention.

Around 2005 at least. I remember someone walking into a meeting late to a chorus of "Deutsche Bahn, 10 bis 15 Minuten später" (which was how the station displays showed delays).
