It's enough to drive you round the (U-)bend.

Hopefully they'll come up with a fix so that the roll out of the new units doesn't grind to a complete stop, cock. Otherwise, they'll be plumb last in the reliability tables.

Yes. Sadly it looks like the sets will appear at short notice whenever they are fixed, which is a bit of a potty situation for trains which are already a few years late entering service. It looks at the moment like they'll never come out! Hopefully they get to the bottom of it all soon and can properly diagram an introduction; I don't fancy having to feel flush and splash out on a First Anytime on the day if they get are introduced by surprise.

Any news of them running from Waterloo? (That's enough of that. Ed.)

I doubt that. If they were local trains with frequent stops, yes, but running non-stop from (e.g.) Leicester to London? A brand new train with people p***ing in the corner? No catering of course, you couldn't serve people coffee etc. with no toilets. The PR disaster would be worse than if they just managed without the Lumo units and cancelled selected services.
