Just looking on bus times, is there any reason why there are gaps in the Enviro 400 EVs . Are they still to be delivered. They are 80061, 80067, 80070, 80071,80078 and then in the Yutongs there are 73116 to 73121 missing. Many thanks for any help

I think the Yutongs are still in reserve. Previously allocated Reg No YB74GLK/GLV/GLY/GLZ/GME/GMF. Not sure about the 400EVs but their original registrations were SK74BFE/BFO/AOG/AOH and AOR.

Hope this helps.

From photos on Flickr all the Enviro 400EV's listed saw service for the Silverstone shuttles in July but don't appear to have been used since.
80071 had become SK25 AKU otherwise reg plates seem to be as listed by @KB59

The Yutongs not used yet should be the ones for Leamington for route 1. I'd heard there were delays with completing the charging infrastructure, which has limited the number of vehicles they can run - this may explain why only a number of the E400EVs are in use each day, according to the tracking.

Is this a general forum about Stagecoach Midlands (going off the title)?

If so, 37068 - an E200- (YY63 YRP, based at Nuneaton) has been repainted into the dark blue livery.

According to the below Route One article, routes D4, D5, and D6 are due to be moving to not accept cash as a payment method at the end of this month.
Three Stagecoach Midlands routes in Daventry are to move to a cashless revenue collection model in what the operator says is a move to modernise the customer experience and improve reliability.

Services D4, D5 and D6 in the town will cease accepting cash at the end of October. Non-concessionary users will instead need to purchase tickets via the Stagecoach app or use contactless payments onboard.

The operator says that at present, 27% of transactions on the three services are made with cash, although it adds that in research carried out during March, the primary reasons for doing so were convenience and habit.

Stagecoach is encouraging customers to try those alternatives ahead of the change. It says that a move to cashless operation on the three Daventry routes is part of a commitment to delivering a “faster, more convenient and customer-focused service.”

Here are their FAQs on the topic:

Cashless Bus Service – Frequently Asked Questions

1. What does “cashless” mean?
It means we won’t be accepting any coins or notes on the bus. You can buy all types of tickets on the Stagecoach Bus App, use Contactless payment on bus (cards and mobile phones/other smart devices) or you can buy weekly and monthly season tickets in advance through the Stagecoach website.

2. Why are buses switching to a cashless system?
Going cashless speeds up your journey, meaning a more reliable service, getting you where you want to, on time. It also allows drivers to focus on giving you a great journey.

3. When will buses be cashless?
Routes D4, D5 & D6 will be cashless from 27th October 2025.

4. Will there be a grace period where cash will be accepted?
No. From 27th October cash will not be accepted on the D4, D5 & D6. We shared our plans for going cashless on the D4, D5 and D6 from 13th October with notices and leaflets on buses, as well as sharing the news with the local newspapers. From 20th October we also have colleagues around giving customers any help or guidance they need to purchase their tickets using the Stagecoach App.

5. What if my card/phone doesn’t work or I don’t have another way to pay?
If you’re unable to pay using your usual method, don’t worry, just speak to your bus driver. They’ll do their best to help you continue your journey.

6. Will all buses become cashless, or just certain routes?
Only Daventry routes D4, D5 & D6 will be cashless.

7. What payment methods are accepted?
You can pay using:
• Stagecoach App (credit/debit cards, Apple/Google Pay or Paypal)
• Contactless debit/credit cards or other contactless payment devices such as mobile phones or smartwatches using Apple or Google Pay
• Online (7 & 28 day tickets only)
• Concessionary travel passes are accepted as normal

8. Is my payment data secure?
Yes. All transactions are securely encrypted and processed. No personal banking details are stored by Stagecoach.

9. How do I get the Stagecoach App?
The app can be downloaded free from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Click here to download it now if browsing on a mobile phone, or simply visit your app store and search for ‘Stagecoach Bus App’.

10. I have questions about the Stagecoach App
We have a page dedicated to helping you answer all your questions about the Stagecoach App. Just click here.

11. I want to understand more about contactless payment
We have a page dedicated to helping you answer all your questions about the contactless payments on our buses. Just click here.

12. I want to provide my thoughts on Cashless bus services.
Your feedback is really important to us, and we would love to hear what you think about cashless bus services. We have a dedicated page for you to provide your thoughts and suggestions. Please click here.

Stagecoach Midlands will now operate routes 73, 73A, 74, 74A, 74B, 74S, 75, 78, 78A, 79 and 79A in Nuneaton from January 1st 2026, taking over from Arriva Midlands.
Also taking over some others services including 24, 25, 85 (all variants) and 735 from Coventry Minibuses: Bus service changes announced for routes linking Coventry and Warwickshire from 2 January 2026

Warwickshire County Council is advising residents of upcoming changes to several bus services operating between Coventry and communities across Warwickshire.

From Friday 2 January 2026, several service contracts for routes in the Coventry, Nuneaton, Bedworth and Rugby areas reach their end and have been retendered to Stagecoach, who will take over operation of these services.
Later in 2026, new electric buses will be introduced across these routes when vehicle deliveries are complete, supporting improved reliability and a more modern passenger experience.
The County Council wishes to thank National Express, Arriva, and Coventry Minibuses for their service provision to date.
Cllr Jennifer Warren, Warwickshire County Council Portfolio Holder for Transport and Planning, said: “These changes mark an important step in keeping Warwickshire’s bus network reliable, connected and fit for the future.
“In bringing these routes under new contracts and preparing for the introduction of modern electric vehicles later in the year, we are working to ensure that residents across the county can continue to depend on regular, accessible and high-quality public transport. We are grateful to our outgoing operators for their service and look forward to working with Stagecoach as these improvements are introduced.”

The 17:45 Coventry–Bourton service will now depart at 17:50 and extend to Rugby, arriving 19:18.
Services 73 / 73A (Nuneaton–Whitestone circular) Now operated by Stagecoach.
Minor timetable changes with an additional 12:45 trip from Nuneaton Bus Station.

Services 78 / 78A (Nuneaton–Bedworth–Exhall–UHCW) Now operated by Stagecoach.
Increased to approximately every 90 minutes.
Faster journey times with a more direct route from Exhall via the M6 and Cross Point Shopping Centre. The current route from Longford to UHCW is covered by National Express service 20A.
This service will no longer serve Armson Road, which is still served by Service 79.
Services 79 / 79A (Nuneaton–Bermuda Park–Collycroft–Bedworth–Keresley) Now operated by Stagecoach.
Timetable changes with the same number of trips.
Service will continue to serve Armson Road but will no longer operate via Exhall Black Horse Road (‘Boat’).
Services 85 / 85A / 85B / 85H / 85S (Rugby–Pailton–Brinklow–UHCW–Coventry) Operated daily by Stagecoach.
Timetable changes with similar overall frequency.
Last bus from Coventry extended to 21:20 (Mon–Sat).
Following the introduction of Service 84, Service 85B reduces to two journeys per day.

Service 735 (Nuneaton/Coleshill–Ansley–Arley–Fillongley–Corley–Coventry) Now operated by Stagecoach.
Minor timetable alterations.
The Nuneaton–Ansley section will be withdrawn.
Coleshill–Ansley will operate daily except Sundays, with no advance booking required.
Ticketing Information
Tickets valid from 2 January 2026 will be available via the Stagecoach website or bought on bus.
nBus tickets will continue to be accepted within the West Midlands Combined Authority area.
Pre-purchased tickets
Tickets from Arriva, National Express or Coventry Minibuses valid for up to four weeks will be honoured by Stagecoach for up to one month from their expiration date, and no later than 31 January 2026.
Student and 5–18 term/annual tickets issued by Arriva or National Express will not be valid from the January term. Customers should contact the issuing operator for refunds.
For other longer-validity tickets, customers should contact the issuing operator for refund of periods beyond 31 January 2026.
Additional changes
Service 84 (Rugby–Easenhall–Brinklow–Bedworth–Nuneaton) will gain extra trips, including:
04:20 (Mon–Fri), 05:16 (Mon–Fri), 06:00 (Sat) Rugby → Nuneaton
19:25 (Mon–Fri), 21:00 (Sat), 21:05 (Mon–Fri) Nuneaton → Rugby

04:20 Rugby to Nuneaton and 21:05 Nuneaton to Rugby on the 84 must be positioning moves? Can't possibly be profitable services?

Out of curiosity, does anyone no what proportion of E400EVs and E12s will be dedicated for Coventry all electric bus city. A lot of them spend time on Rugby and Nuneaton locals, but with more Coventry service transferring to Stagecoach is this to change?

Just a guess but with the taking on of new services by Nuneaton depot, the 84 is being moved to Rugby depot?
I would assume so

Looking on bustimes I can usually see one or two of Nuneaton's E12s on Coventry local services (most of them are operated by E200s/E400MMCs). However unless you revert some of Nuneaton's (or the 11 in Hinckley, 785/786 in Tamworth, 762 in Atherstone) services back to diesel, you won't see many more E12's on the 51/60/87/188/703.

EDIT - looking at a link on one of the previous posts, more electric buses are to come in 2026 so I presume that Nuneaton's 58/60 plate E200's at a minimum will be replaced, allowing more electrics on Coventry services

By the end of 2026, all services (with a very few exception) in the City of Coventry will be Electric buses. The residual tendered services in the Coventry area are being tendered by TfWM at this moment.

Route 51 has also moved to Rugby Garage, alongside 84/84A. Interesting to see more Enviro200s on the 56/57/148 now that Nuneaton has taken on new routes

Enviro200 37059 / YX63 LKP has transferred from Nuneaton to Rugby, so we have now lost 2 vehicles over the last couple of weeks

Not exactly sure but I would expect them to be in service by the summer, as Nuneaton and Rugby are also due a batch of presumably Yutong EVs this summer. I saw a photo of Northampton’s 73195 on test/driver training, but I can’t remember where I saw the photo now. I will try and find it again

Noticed that more and more journeys on the X6 (MK to Northampton) appear to now not be using the ex-Gold deckers and instead get old Enviro 300s. Did the journey yesterday and it was uncomfortably full and definitely not a suitable bus.

The one route I didn’t guess on your YouTube post turned out to be the correct one

Does anyone know why the single decker Yutongs haven't been delivered to/entered service at Leamington depot yet? I believe it was supposed to be last year and then delayed to early 2026.

I’m not sure if they have been delivered or not, but they definitely haven’t entered service yet.
According to the Stagecoach website, they are due in service this summer (I presume, as that’s when Nuneaton and Rugby’s are due) so they can’t be far off.

Power supply issue (as in insufficient capacity) at the Leamington Depot.
