What are the other journey details you've put on (if any), I've just tested it and I've been able to get LNER's (and trainsplit) to give me fares and itineraries.
£47.70 (with Network Card) for two of us. For some reason we can buy Stevenage to Hayes.. etc.. as you describe, but not direct. Either way, purchased. Thank you.
What would the cost of a direct ticket be? 2 Adult with Network Card, off peak (1pm today).

You'll be issued a ticket to/from Heathrow Rail in either case. Inter-terminal transfers are free whether your original ticket is for the HEx, Elizabeth line or Tube so you don't need to worry about which specific terminal you select when booking/searching.
