Good Afternoon I was unsure where to post this. I don’t suppose anyone has any ideas on if in particular the Doncaster to Scunthorpe service is to be improved? Pre Covid it was hourly now it’s every 2 hours with a gap at Lunchtime.
Which day(s) is the lunchtime gap? What are loadings like, now and pre Covid?
Beyond doubling the frequency, if it can be justified, I can't see anything. Linking it to a (desirable) second tph DON-SHF is unlikely to be possible for pathing reasons.
Departures are every 2hrs until 10am from Crowle then nothing until 13:00. I’m not sure about what the loadings are like compared to precovid. When I was a Transpennine Express last year there was talk about the Cleethorpes service stopping every 2hours at Thorne South, Crowle and Althorpe to bridge the gap.

Actually there was talk of Northern removing their two hour stopper and TPE picking up calls every two hours. Local stakeholders rightfully pushed back
