There is a 5J70 and 5J91 move to and from/between Kings Heath and Wolverton tomorrow.

350244 is currently shown at Wolverton, so that may be coming back and another taking its place. However 350130 is also at Wolverton so the move might be in connection with that.

350244 has been off lease for around a year now so would be surprised if that comes back to LNR. Also (unless its gone by road) 350244 was at Wembley Yard over the weekend and I can't see any paths that it could've taken to Wolverton Works recently?

For some reason the system is still showing 244 as an asset when, as you say, its been off lease for a while.

The Wolverton move today saw 350111 swap places with 350130

Age wont matter much hear vs actual mileage wear and tear which is why the 350s are seeing more corrosion repairs than 444s and 450s who've been about longer. The SWR desiro fleet gets more better rotation for maintenance aswell as its much bigger.

A 5Q91 1600 Derby Lit to Northampton return was booked to run today but has been cancelled, so I suppose they were expecting to get one of the 350/3s back !

Posts on se-gen suggest the 350/3s are having TPWS work carried out along with some adjustments being made in the cabs. No mention of corrosion issues.

Was on platform at Milton Keynes when a 37 went thundering through northbound with a pair of 350s, could only see across the platforms as a train blocked view

We have since discovered that it is actually work on the TPWS system and in the cabs, not corrosion repairs.
