4 coach 455 on the 08.33 Weybridge to Waterloo (via Staines) this morning.

That's not diagrammed though. It would have been standing in for something else.

It's been 4 coach 455 all week (apart from Monday when it was cancelled). The diagram doesn't match the reality.

A mark of the times - just walked up and down the platforms at Waterloo and not a single 455.
That is diagrammed.
0652, 1552 Waterloo to Weybridge
0833, 1740 Weybridge to Waterloo
They've been diagrammed 4-455 for a while now, previously they were booked 4-450 so it wasn't a reduction in train length.
It's also now booked to do 2233 Waterloo to Windsor and 2335 Windsor to Staines.

It's not showing on RTT today but 5711 (its companion when the bang happened) ran 2J92 (the Surbiton peakbuster) this morning with 5703. The same pair are shown on RTT as rostered for five turns round the houses this evening starting with 2O53 (1800 off Waterloo) - a diagram that is supposed to be a 701 turn.

Quite so, WM 611 diagram (FSX), as per that on the SWR web site. It's the only single (455) weekday diagram in the base plan at present. The FO diagrams as uploaded to the SWR site seem to be partially corrupted, so without detailed look in to same can't comment about FO.

Would have thought there would be a team at Newport stripping the trains and melting the metal for recycling, as metal is now a high value?
But guess it is cheaper to ship to another country where labour costs are lower, but another country gains the valuable recycled metals?
Unimetals presumably have more operations than scrapping and hopefully the banks will do a deal to save it? save it

scrapped units that are done at unimetals is shredder and then loaded on to road vehicles at newport and goes to Avonmouth for shipping to Turkey and elsewhere,but occasionally can be loaded on to ship at newport if problems are at Avonmouth

Is there anymore news on the Newport administration situation? This cancellation may not be for this reason but the future of the site is certainly hanging over this fleet's withdrawal.

Might be because Newport is currently full, there are many statuses of trains that still show as 'Awaiting disposal' after quite a while of them being there, which means there probably isn't any space for more units

I have 5872 last in traffic on 27/08 and 5874 31/07. Someone else may know differently.
Today according to RTT. The Guildfords via Esher are solid 455. With 5 pairs in circuit, including 5849, 5852, 5864.
I can only see 2 other pairs out. 5706, 5871 on a few Guildfords via Epsom and few Chessingtons. 5705, 5720 on Dorkings and few Chessingtons. Any more about feel free to add.

I saw 455 872 out and about a couple of weeks ago. I think it was 16th October because I had 455 873 for haulage that day and I remember thinking to myself it was interesting that I'd seen the other two highest numbered remaining units the same day.
However, I only note them if I ride them or photograph them, so...
Edited to add: Yes, it was 16th October and it was with 455 703. Just found it in a search on RTT. Screenshot below:

Does seem complicated if Sims Australia has not been paid installments and can claim part of Simms UK (legally owned now by Unimetals UK?). If other companies have bid (or borrowing money from banks) for Unimetals, then they may be liable for the rest of installments to Sims Australia?
The current Unimetals administrators may try and keep income coming in from Newport, but there may be other costs in running the scrap operation, which may be only a small part of Unimetals UK operation.
