It is essential that the journey shown in the journey preamble is followed exactly and no extraneous routes are used instead.

Please bear in mind that this quiz is not a degree level knowledge test on the minutiae of closed stations but that of a general knowledge based quiz that will be enjoyable to all contestants.
I refer to what was stated in the journey preamble about the previous leg and its mention made of Tiffield and its relation to Roade.

I'm afraid that I was oblivious to Tiffield in the preamble -- for which due apologies -- sackcloth, ashes, etc.; that notwithstanding, though: probably this is stupidity on my part -- but I cannot make sense of how, in this Journey, Tiffield and Roade can fit together.
