Someone's just asked the question in the allocations and diagrams section about a train running empty on Wed (15th) night from Wembley to Manchester, then acquiring a Q headcode (generally testing) and spending a few hours running Salford Crescent to Bolton, then back to Wembley for 7am. Could be nothing...

Listed as Europhoenix, with Class 350 timings, for.. err.. parcels?!

It’s classified as PX on RTT, which the 350s used to test previously

Meanwhile all of the other remaining 350/2s are out today besides 350250/254. Both were last active on 12/10/25.

I saw it on the A38 at Alrewas l, was definitely a 350

Id imagine they would just send 350/2s off lease if they are in the way of getting the 730s prepared for service....

WMT have done it before, 170s out before 196s ready, 323s out before the 730s we're ready.

The operator hasn't much room for manoeuvre if the leasing company has agreed a contractual start date for the outgoing fleet to start working for their new user.

350244 is currently shown at Wolverton, so that may be coming back and another taking its place. However 350130 is also at Wolverton so the move might be in connection with that.

We'll see, but unlikely. Wolverton has in the past been used for carrying out end-of-lease work before the units depart for storage.
