That and its only sized for 2 cars, so really only fits the 2EPB (Class 416) as electric and pretty sure it was only Thumpers that worked the route from Uckfield until the TurbostarsGiven that all East Grinstead services run to/from London, I can't imagine there's any reason whatsoever for electric trains to use P3.
P3 takes 3 cars - just. The "thumpers" on the Oxted lines were all 3 cars until the very end when some were reduced to 2. Most of the Turbos are now 3 cars too, with a few 2 and 4 remaining. Don't remember ever seeing an electric unit in there.That and its only sized for 2 cars

In practice they operate any East Grinstead shuttle from platform 1, with Uckfield shuttles possibly using platform 3 if they are running.If the line towards London is closed, could an electric shuttle run between Oxted and East Grinstead, using the bay?
