Excellent, the supposed ban must have been lifted!
What ban? There never was a ban!

Yeah haha.

Is this a one off run or are Varamis officially back operating again?
Unless they announce what they are doing, who knows!

429 is in excellent condition (on one side not sure on the other) and 321428 still has graffiti after seeing it on Railcam.
Condition is not based on graffiti!
How is the mechanical side of the units? That's the important factor, what's sprayed on the side is irrelevant.

Well 429 was pretty knackered back in June and was indeed missing a pantograph. So clearly some work has been put into the unit since (suggesting they probably are focusing on their 5 converted units and potentially ridding the others to scrap)

Spent less than a minute at BHI (if it stopped at all) before continuing to Mossend.

Stock move to Mossend to resume operations perhaps.

There's a Scrap move on Wednesday https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:K44786/2025-10-08/detailed lets see if it runs this time without any issues

Likely to be cancelled because of another Newport Run from Wimbledon which 37800 is likely to be on since that move was cancelled due to loco issues. Just best to keep an eye out if this runs at all.
That was reported to be 455707 & 455715 (pulled by the grim reaper 37800) so nothing to do with Varimis.

Edit: just noticed that was 5Q74 not 5Q76 (Wimbledon not Willesden)

Yes 5Q74 was the 455's the move came up last minute resulting in todays 321 scrap move being cancelled and being rescheduled for Friday from Willesden Railnet https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:K44838/2025-10-10/detailed unless any last minute events occur this may run.

321338 + 321342 (both unconverted units)

338 had lost its pantograph, possibly now on 321429?

I did see a white 321 covered in graffiti moving around the south of wembley yard earlier on in the week under its own power. I assume it was one of those 2

Passed both sides of the mail building at the weekend.Saw 2 silver units quite far away from the building from the main line, 3 blue liveried from the suburban line and one at the depot on the other side of the line.
Can anyone identify any of them? As also a refurbed unit sticking out of a road at the suburban side.

The most “up to date” (last updated in July last year) list I have is:
321334
321339
321341
321342
321407
321419
321428
321429
321440
Don’t know if anything has since been added/removed since then; I tried to keep up to date with the fleet whenever Varamis posted an update on “X”!
Do you have liveries for them.
428 and 429 went to Mossend in Sept. Does anyone know if they are still there?

321440 is at Stonebridge Park's Network Rail sidings while 407 and 419 are outside the PRDC. You can see both upfront from a passing Bakerloo/DC line train.

440 is now also missing its pantograph.

Many thanks.

Just for clarity are 407and419 blue.
And are the network rail sidings on the right hand side of the DC line north of Stonebridge Park sidings.

Yes to both questions, though "blue" is being nice here as the three units are heavily graffitied, 440 to a lesser extent.

Brilliant thanks. Don’t understand the need for graffiti or indeed wanton vandalism generally.
