Due to forecast high winds DalesBus 59 between Harrogate and Skipton is running with a single-decker bus today.
(Marketed as a double-decker – for the views)
(Sunday DalesBus 822, 875 & 876 - also marketed as a double-deckers – all tracking as DD)
That doesn't surprise me, i've been on the 576 a few times, the section between Queensbury & Halifax is the issue were the road is right up on the hill with a sheer drop on one side. The 576 from Halifax to Bradford usually has (mostly) single decker allocations in windy weather. It appears to be the case today.
Due to reports of extreme high winds the 840 service will not be serving Goathland at the present time
Stops missed are: Goathland Shops & Mallyon Spout
We apologise for the inconvenience
