I wrote a simple bit of JavaScript to dynamically generate my most common search, namely non passenger trains for the current day at LLJHow about using this dateless link:

...and then just change the [When?] drop down from "now" to "all day"?

Nowt from my point of view! I can see all the trains all day at my station, I can look at how the yare running and see lots of data. I can even see the train numbers of some of the services! I can do that for a fortnight back and for ever into the future.
I have got to say that @Tom has more patience than me. I would just turn off all the advance features and make you pay for them! I literally have no idea what moans are about!

I see some allocations for non-KYT TOCs have appeared on the site now, thanks to the new open data feed from Network Rail.
I assume they'll almost all be showing by tomorrow, as the data comes in tonight.

I'm surprised their security has been compromised so readily, after the other KYT operators proved those concerns so valid

What do you mean by that?
KYT has existed for a while now and even before then plenty of TOCs would answer questions about this stuff on Twitter etc.... also almost every public bus in this country has public online tracking (with more precision than the rail open data provides) associated with its route, operator and registration number and again has done for several years.
Not to be excessively dismissive of concerns, but surely, if there were major security issues, these things wouldn't exist (or at least would have disappeared as soon as the problems became apparent)?

I've noticed on the few diagrams that have shown up, formations seem to stay listed the same way around even when the train will reverse.
E.g.
2A62 1855 Ashford International to London Victoria - 465179 + 466022
2N70 2125 London Victoria to Ashford International - 465179 + 466022
both the same despite that they will turn around

This happens on a few TOCs already but can happen for a few reasons. If two units are allocated to the same diagram, it’ll output in numerical order. Equally from some systems the diagram position always returns as 1 which brings back the same results.

I can understand that particular service needing 12 coaches from Euston as it's in the high peak (17:56), but does it really need 12 coaches north of Northampton considering it will restrict the guard to the rear of coach 8 for the multiple stations between Northampton & New Street which will require Unit Deselect due to only taking 8 coaches.Is this true on realtimes trains? 12 cars 350s coming all the way to Birmingham NS?
