Am I the only person who could not believe their eyes when reading that a Class 150 Sprinter (150231) has entered preservation at the The Watercress Line ?
I cannot think of a DMU which is less suited to a heritage line than a class 150, the view out is appalling, in fact a Pacer is much better in that respect (previously discussed here) plus a class 150 has relatively few opening windows (it has many, and wider, doors), further separating you from heritage experience you have come to immerse yourself in.
Even a Class 156 would be better than a class 150 for a heritage line !
