Resuming break of journey at different stations.

Hi, I am planning to travel from Taunton to Bedwyn, and return from pewsey to Taunton later that day. This would be on a Sunday. Could I buy a off peak day return from Taunton to Hungerford. In the morning I would travel from Taunton to Hungerford, immediately turn around and begin the return journey taking a train to Bedwyn, break the journey at bedwyn, and restart the journey from pewsey later on in the day?

Do you mean return to Hungerford, or do you mean Taunton?

As long as the return journey is to Taunton then that will be fine. There is no compulsion to complete every bit of a ticket's validity where break of journey is permitted.
