Swapping from KeyGo to Oyster

Hello, my commute is from Baldock to Canary Wharf

I don't think it's the cheapest way but if I've not left time to buy a ticket what I do is use my KeyGo from Baldock to Farringdon (Thameslink) and then Oyster from Farringdon to Canary Wharf.

What I'm unsure on is if I can tap out of the KeyGo on one of the TFL pads on the platforms or not (and then tap in with the oyster) or if I need to go up to the barriers?

You can use the TfL standalone readers to touch in or out for keyGo. The same goes for Oyster or contactless.

I've switched from KeyGo to Oyster at Farringdon and Finsbury Park. It works ok - just remember to touch each card and you should be fine.
